Shipyard Selection Begins for Hydrogen-Hybrid Coastal Class Research Vessel

UC San Diego’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography has issued an RFP to select a shipyard to build CCRV, the first U.S. hydrogen-hybrid research vessel. CCRV will run 75% on liquid hydrogen, enabling zero-emission science missions in the Pacific.
