The AniBOS network, co-led by IMOS, uses animal-borne sensors to collect ocean data from remote regions, supporting ocean observing efforts. It’s now a GOOS network and UN Decade of Ocean Science Decade Action.

IMOS data from the Ningaloo mooring near North West Cape is now available. It monitors temperature, salinity, and currents to assess Leeuwin Current strength and supports long-term reef and ecosystem studies in this vital marine region.
