Polarstern catches five tons of Marbled Antarctic Cod

Polarstern caught 5 tons of marbled Antarctic cod, the biggest haul in 24 years. Though impressive, it doesn’t signal stock recovery. Scientists warn that renewed commercial fishing could rapidly deplete localized populations again.
